Since I love math so much (see
this post) I decided to do some quick calculating to find out when anyone must step forward to run against state Sen. Jeff Denham in the recall election.

Turns out, it's probably only a handful of days away.

Assuming Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger sets the recall election for June 3 (as everyone predicts and Denham wants), people need to turn in their paperwork and check for $1,162.08 (or 3,000 signatures) by April 5th.
