A fresh, new university rating Web site UniGo carries no mention of UC Merced.

There are a few UC campuses represented though: Santa Cruz, Berkeley, Davis and Riverside.

So why is Merced (and the other five universities in the UC system, for that matter) not included?

I sent an email inquiry in to UniGo – mainly because I thought their idea was oh-so-neat –
but I didn’t get a response. Tear!

(Leslie's doing fine work up the 99 at the Modesto Bee, our sister paper.)
