BLACK FRIDAY

The day is coming.
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, where people wait in line, sometimes as early as 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, just to get a good place in line for the early-shopper bargains.
Can you imagine, waiting in line in the dark cold night and into the early morning just for a bargain? These dedicated shoppers bring their blankets, heater stoves, chairs, food, family and friends to join them as they wait in line for the stores to open.
This year a couple of the department stores open at 4 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. I wonder how many will be at their front doors for the special bargains? A video MP3 player is being offered to lure shoppers into one of the 4 a.m. stores.
The other store is giving away a free Disney 2007 Mickey Mouse snow globe that includes a $10 coupon redeemable Saturday, Nov. 24th. Then we have seven 5 a.m. openings, one opening at 5:55 a.m., a mere five minutes before the 6 a.m. openings at the other eight stores. Me, I will be out taking pictures of you bargain shoppers, as you wait in the cold damp weather all bundled up. I guess I am just as crazy, because it will be just as cold for me, as I take the photos. Are you going to be one of these shoppers? Bundle up everyone, it is supposed to get down in the mid-30s on Black Friday.
Best of luck to all you bargain hunters. Those not out shopping for bargains will probably be out buying their Christmas Trees later in the day. Owners of Christmas tree lots were starting to put up their lights on Wednesday evening. See you out there.
