It's time to start praying

If California is hit with another drought next year, it could be the worst water drought in California history.
That’s what Department of Water Resources Director Lester Snow said this week, after hearing a report that Lake Shasta, the largest storage reservoir in the state, is at only 48 percent capacity.
The next-largest reservoir, Lake Oroville, is at 40 percent of capacity now, and will drop to about 20 percent by the end of December.
Farmers are worried that another year of tight water supplies could spell economic disaster for the San Joaquin Valley. In Mendota, the city is already giving out food to unemployed farmworkers. Unemployment in the town in western Fresno County is already at 25 percent. The mayor said that it’s the worst he’s ever seen.
I guess we all need to start hoping and praying for rain now. What hurts the farmers hurts everyone, because everything that goes in your mouth comes from a farmer. Pray for rain.

Just be thankful

Just be thankful some of us can think.. . without having to resort to superstition and delusion for inspiration. . .

It's time to start praying?

How about quit crying to the Invisible Man in the Sky, and do something?

Like, 'they' were able to put a pipeline in Alaska to carry oil, how about one to carry water from the parts of the country that regularly flood and send it to places that need it? 'They' made an aqueduct to carry water from up north down to LA so they have water. . . while the farmers in the Valley run short. . .

How about pump the floodwaters into tank trucks and ship it out here?

Good Grief. . . leave the delusions at home and act. . . praying is just a waste of time and accomplishes nothing. . .

How does the old saying go?
"Actions speak louder than Words?"

Balance is Life. . .

The Power of Prayer.

"How about pump the floodwaters into tank trucks and ship it out here?" See Mr. D, one prayer and the "answers" start rolling in, thank God, and the wonderful Reverand D. for their contributions.

Amen :)

And that wasn't done by

And that wasn't done by someone praying, it was done by someone *thinking* about the problem. *Thinking* works. Just keep praying, marc, and leave the thinking to those who aren't afraid to.
