Sun-Star endorses Obama, McCain in primary elections

Here's our take on the Feb. 5 presidential primary election: If you're a Democrat, vote for Sen. Barack Obama. if you're a Republican, vote for Sen. John McCain.
Our decision wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Obama is an inspirational force and the opposite of his chief opponent, Hillary Clinton, who is more past than present. McCain is an independent thinker and is the most impressive of the GOP field.
Obama and McCain have picked up some big-time newspaper endorsements in the Golden State, including the San Francisco Chronicle and the Sacramento Bee. Closer to home the Modesto Bee endorsed Obama and McCain, and the Fresno Bee endorsed former Sen. John Edwards.

The Sun-Star might have figured out that we need to avoid the rancor and discord that Hillary promotes. More than ever, this Country needs the fresh, HONEST, and uniting face of Obama. He looks even better, compared to Hillary the Hun....
Say no to Hillary Clinton!

Anyone but Hillary Clinton!

Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. John McCain, let the debates begin with mutual respect, addressing real issues and proposing real solutions.

Any Democrat
Either Obama or Hillary (or even Donald Duck) would make a thousand times better President than John McCain. I personally think John Edwards would have been better still, but that ship has already sailed. The point is, we already had our primary here in California, and there ain’t gonna be any do-overs. It’s time for us to put aside the petty stuff and start walking sequential toward electing a Democrat. Any Democrat.
